Editorial Policy

How we research, write, and review our content
1. Our Editorial Mission

Finquesta’s purpose is to publish financial education content that is accurate, accessible, and genuinely useful — free from hype, jargon, and undisclosed commercial influence. This policy explains the standards and process behind every guide we publish.

2. Content Creation Process
  1. Research — every topic begins with research from primary regulatory and market sources — relevant financial regulators, central banks, stock exchanges, and government tax authorities for the markets and countries covered — plus established financial references.
  2. Drafting — content is written in plain language, structured for readability, with worked examples wherever a concept benefits from illustration.
  3. Fact-Checking — figures, thresholds, tax slabs, and regulatory details are cross-checked against current official sources before publication.
  4. Editorial Review — a second reviewer checks the draft for accuracy, clarity, tone, and compliance with our Disclaimer and Affiliate Disclosure requirements.
  5. Publishing & Dating — every article is published with a visible publish date; guides referencing time-sensitive figures (tax rules, limits) are periodically revisited and updated.
3. Sourcing Standards

We prioritize primary sources — regulator publications, exchange data, and official notifications — over secondary commentary. Where we reference third-party data or studies, we credit the original source. We do not fabricate statistics, quotes, or case studies.

4. Author Expertise & Bylines

Articles are attributed to the Finquesta editorial team or an individual author byline where applicable. We are transparent about our team’s background and do not claim credentials we do not hold. Where AI-assisted tools are used in research or drafting support, all content is human-reviewed and fact-checked before publication.

5. Independence from Advertisers & Affiliates

There is a strict separation between our editorial decisions and our commercial relationships. Advertisers and affiliate partners have no influence over article content, ratings, comparisons, or recommendations. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full detail on how we handle commercial links.

6. Corrections Policy

We take accuracy seriously. If a factual error is identified, we correct it promptly and, for significant corrections, note the update date on the article. Readers can report errors to sohansawant33@gmail.com.

7. Review Cadence

Evergreen guides referencing tax rules, contribution limits, or regulatory thresholds are reviewed at least annually, or sooner if a relevant rule change is announced.
